Overview
The eCulture Innovationsforum connects interdisciplinary experiences in the research, development and application of novel technologies for digital cultural storytelling. The initiative focuses on connecting cultural institutions, research organizations, and technology partners to advance digital innovation in the cultural sector.
The eCultureLab at HafenCity University serves as a hub for exploring new avenues of cultural storytelling and testing the extent to which smart, digital archeology and history can fascinate visitors and passers-by.
Challenge
Cultural institutions face significant challenges in reaching new audiences and making their collections accessible in the digital age. The eCulture initiative addresses the gap between traditional cultural heritage presentation and the possibilities offered by emerging digital technologies.
Approach
